It works... Not much else to say
Construction is nice. And being aluminum it's not very heavy. The coloring seems to be consistent. This is a very basic device, so there's not really much to say. The price was right for me to pick one up. I weight 240 lbs and have used this descender to belay down twice without any issues. I guess the only other thing to mention is that the clip hole was plenty big for my black diamond carabiners.

Lightweight but solid
Bought for rappelling down with my hunting saddle. Cheaper and I’m more familiar with using this plus cheaper than a madrock. Only gave 4 stars due to not using it yet, but it feels looks and seems solid and I think it will work just fine.

Color is fun while it lasts
Safety 8 does it’s job while rappelling. The color doesn’t really matter because most of it has come off after a couple of uses.

Made a perfect slingshot. I machined fork tips out of aluminum on a Harbor Freight lathe.

Great item. I can do Spiderman stuff now.
I really like how easy this is to use. No parts to break. Just wrap the rope through, and your ready to do SWAT stuff.
