Snack stick tube funnel for Jerky Cannon Gun STAINLESS STEEL from Smokehouse Chef

This worked very well for making jerky, jerky sticks and sausage. If you are doing a lot of food, you may want to space it out though. I processed 3 deer in a couple of days so it has already paid for itself. I had to buy a smaller diameter attachment to do the sticks.

Worked like a charm with 19mm collagen casings, with sufficient length to handle a full 1.5 lb. Cannon load - which translates to about 36-inches of stuffed stick (before smoking and drying - about 30-inches after dehydration and fat-loss shrinkage). The supplied 1/2-inch short tip really only worked to produce either the larger casing-less formed breakfast links (which don't have the casing "snap" bite I wanted), or 1 ft. long 22mm casing fills (similar to a breakfast sausage link). I ram the remaining 6-inch portions in the tube using the back-end of a wooden spoon to clear the final stuffing at the end of the run. A test-tube brush works well for cleaning.

Would have been nice if they had included a long handled tube brush for proper cleaning.

The item arrived as ordered. However, the bell end that attaches to my jerky gun does not properly fit/seal the opening. During operation, meat is forced around the perimeter of the bell and oozes out through the threads on the jerky gun collar. Had this provided a proper fit, would have given a better rating.

High quality stainless fits the Lem model jerky guns. The only minus is a little meatloss in the tube but not alot. Just something to be aware of.
