This is an excellent high quality dog food, my Doberman loves it compared to other dry dog food. Worth it!

My pups love this food! We struggled to find a quality food that has no grains or poultry because of food allergies. It is still pricier than we would like, but other options were more. The freeze dried pieces are like marshmallows in Lucky charms for them too! We have never had any quality issues and recommend this food to others quite often.

We got our Saint Berdoodle about two years ago and from the very beginning he was extremely picky. This dog who is supposed to be a giant is not food motivated at all. We literally stopped giving him treats just so he would get hungry enough that he would eat food. We tried all the super expensive brands we tried putting hamburger meat in his food we tried putting beef broth scrambled eggs anything and everything that is OK for a dog we actually tried and he somehow managed to pick out the food or lick up the gravy and leave the actual dried food behind. I happened to just to see this food and figured let’s give it a try and he has been eating this food for a full year. He still doesn’t run to the bowl When we fill it, he truly is not food motivated however he actually eats this food. We purchased the wet food from the same brand and he devours it. We give him one can a day and he grazes on his dry food throughout the day but probably only eats about a scoop a day. We haven’t had any issues with quality control with the cans or with the dry food, the brand is absolutely amazing and we’re just grateful that our dog is eating and maintaining his weight

Dog always go for the freeze dried food and eats everything in his bowl every day

I’ve been buying this food for a few years now I feel this is gonna be the last time I buy it because I am paying so much money and the quality is not there that used to be there I will reach out to the company and see what they do about it. The company to give me a free bag of dog food and was interested in the codes on the bag but since then I’ve had a few bags that were the greatest quality

My dog is a very picky eater who is never excited about meal times. Very odd…. We have to coax him to eat (& we buy top of the line food only). Heaven forbid he smells fish in the food; he would rather starve. Found this line of red meat coated kibble & he is a changed dog. He’s super excited to eat this food! Merrick is a brand we’ve trusted for many years now. Love this line!

Usually this product is fantastic. However, this particular bag has exactly zero freeze-dried raw pieces in it. It’s nothing but kibble. I understand some bags will have more than others, but for a bag to have none, that’s very disappointing.Contacted by Merrill and they made it right. Tremendous customer service.
