Antonio Giuliani Acoustic Guitar Bundle (DN-2) - Dreadnought Guitar with Case, Strap, Strings and Accessories

My son's birthday has fallen right in the thick of the NYC Pandemic. As I work in the theater district, my livelihood (Front of house/playwright/composer) is shut down, so my limited funds to be spent especially well. Over the past year, my son has gone through a growth spurt and his fingers don't really fit on his hand-me-down guitar. But while we are social distancing, he is finding peace in music. He voluntarily sought out on-line guitar classes and I could hear him picking out melodies the best he could on our old guitar. So, I decided to get him a new full-sized guitar for his birthday, but I knew between escalated shipping time and cost, I would get one shot at finding the right guitar. After spending hours searching the internet I found Kennedy Violins. I had NEVER seen anything with 5-Star across the board. The reviews were fantastic, and they had clearance options! When I called the family based store in (I think) Oregon, person who helped me (YES, a PERSON!) patiently answered all my questions, and helped me chose the specific guitar that would best fit my sons needs both skill and size wise. SHe even helped me find a clearance version! Happily, I was able to keep it a surprise until it arrived.When he opened the package, he was wriggling like an excited puppy. Remember, this is a 15-yr old 6'4 teenager who isn't really prone to an outpouring of communication and emotion to his mom. However, I was given the gift of a TRUE happy smile - complete with sparkly eyes. He picked it up and strummed it, and the sound was pure and beautiful! I had no idea how bad our old guitar was until I heard the warm sounds coming out of this beautiful, solid and wonderful instrument, a piece of exquisite craftsmanship (and he was only playing chords!). He couldn't stop saying, "Thank you mom... no really. Thank you." He was so happy. He has been playing it every day since. It is a gift that he will remember his whole life. Add that to the fact that I know this guitar will last for many years so he can play songs to his kids and tell them the story of how he got this guitar during the dark days of the pandemic--- Thank you Kennedy Violins for having such pride in your work and helping me give this wonderful gift of memories and music. I love Kennedy Violin Shop! So of course when I needed a new guitar, I was definitely buying from them, as all their products are amazing and they have great customer service.I was not at all disappointed. This guitar is not only gorgeous looking, it sounds incredible and came with everything I needed.I am a music teacher and will only be asking my students to buy this one from here on out.

This guitar is amazing in more ways than one. The wood is beautiful and expertly assembled, and the whole instrument itself is lightweight and practical. The guitar gives out a very twangy sound when played, the good kind you only hear in the best of acoustic guitars. The craftsmanship is superb and you can see that the manufacturers put their heart and soul into every instrument they make. The guitar came with a snug, thick soft case, many guitar picks, a capo, a set of spare strings, and two cloths to keep things clean and beautiful. I rate this guitar a 10/10, the best acoustic guitar I've owned thus far.

I love this guitar. I learned and played for years when I was younger on better guitars, but this little cutaway has stolen my heart. And I am happy to support a small company in Washington.The action is decent. Would suggest extra light strings. The sound is twangy good and resonant. And she’s not a heavy thing. Feels just right. Looks good too. Comes with a pretty strap. Not shiny though, if that’s your thing. I took a chance when I bought it because I’m not exactly rich, but good things sometimes happen.

Bought the DN-1 closeout from Amazon and was pleased to no end with the quality and sound of theinstrument. The cherry on top was that, after a cross country trip from Washington State (in all kinds of temperature changes) the guitar arrived balls on tuned. Amazing.One glitch, it came with a set of violin strings!Called the 800-779-0242 service number which rang twice and answered live by a verycourteous representative. This guitar came to me in a sturdy gig bag. I love the feel of this guitar. It sounds bright and crisp. The fret board is finger friendly and I was impressed with the playability. I HIGHLY recommend this guitar. I am amazed at how crisp the highs are and how booming the bass is. As a predominately acoustic player and vocalist, I love how this instrument compliments my musical style. I play Harry Chapin and James Taylor, The Eagle's etc...and this guitar truly shines.It came with a set of extra strings, picks and a cleaning cloth as well as a luggage tag. Nice to know I have what I need to keep it playing and grooving and it came as part of this package!I am impressed and happy with this purchase. I think you will be too.
