Screenplay And Storyboards For Study
I've been reading lots of screenplays lately to study what great film screenplays read like. Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Scream, and others are required reading for those that want to learn from great films. This is the screenplay for "Interstellar," which come from the minds of brothers Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan. With their combined resumes, I thought it was worth a look into how their writing translates into the finished product.— SCREENPLAY —This is a 1" thick paperback. with the first half being the screenplay, and the second half for storyboards from the film. If you're already familiar with screenplay language, then you'll know what to expect here. A good screenplay will have you imagining a movie very closely to what ends up on screen.— STORYBOARDS —The storyboards are pencil sketches of select scenes in the film. They are semi-detailed sketches with clear direction as to how the final shot will be composed and if there are any camera movements required.— SUMMARY —This is another great screenplay book, with the bonus of the storyboards, for those that are looking to study these things. Recommended.

It was great to read the whole story
It was great to read the whole story. The movie moved so fast, I missed some important details. I had already seen the movie twice, but still knew I was missing things, and also I wanted to see the exact lines about the connection through love, and the lines about the deep need in the human psyche to survive for himself above the desire to preserve the species as a whole. This story had some significant statements about human psychology.

Nolan's adaption of Spielberg's original script is fascinating. He avoided using aliens, and kept the script as scientifically accurate as he possibly could. I read the script in two readings, I was blown away at the simplicity of the script for such a complicated movie. I would definitely watch this again.

Relive the movie
This book consists of three parts, the first is a full spoiler interview with the Nolans about some key aspects of the movie. The second one, a early version of the script featured in the motion picture. And finally, some storyboards of the main scenes of the movie.A must have for every Interstellar fan.

A tool to use relatively
This enables a viewer to get a better handle on the twists and turns of this film, and to digest the background science. Also, the storyboards explain how this film went from script to visuals to actual footage.

More than a screenplay
It arrived on time which was great, but even better it not only had the complete screenplay but also the storyboards for the movie. My boyfriend is a huge Nolan fan and adored this present.
