Engage them
My grandkids love the stem and science toys, get them off the cell phones and game systems and engage their minds and problem solving skills. keep the kits to their age group so as not to over whelm them. My own kids are surprised how involved their kids get building these . Now that's one smart grandma !

Fun with a little frustration for kids
I didn’t like the few directions provided. My 9 year old daughter grew frustrated because the directions didn’t provide enough detail and they were written in a small font with small diagram pictures. The worse part is the electrical work doesn’t stay in place and stops running. I need to super glue the electrical lines to the circuit to stay in place.

Kids loved this to assemble. Great toy for this money but won’t stay for long , it broken quickly . But kids enjoyed their time in assembling these sets.

My daughter loves this set! The best part is that each toy build comes with it's own motor. Highly recommend!

Totally misleading as to how well these kits go together
We bought this kit for our 8 year old very science minded grandson. My husband planned to need to help him build the kits. He pretty much built them all with our grandson just watching. The first one tried took 3 long frustrating hours. They are finally finishing up the 5th kit. Most were too finicky to keep working more than a few minutes, the screws were too small to work with. Very unhappy with this flimsy product. Gears didn't turn smoothly, boat was too heavy with the batteries and sunk. By the way my husband was an Architect and the kits suggested ages 8-12 years and said it should take 20-40 minutes per project.

Decent, but be prepared to use your detective skills.
All the parts were in each kit. Assembly directions are not great but they can be figured out. Some of the motors work better than others. But my 10 and 11 year olds were able to build these and enjoyed them.
