i have personally known mr peanut for over 120 years. I met him on the troop transport that was taking us doughboys to france to fight the deadly hun. I witnessed many acts of bravery by mr peanut, he was fierce in hand to hand combat and a expert with the rifle and the bayonet. I helped mr peanut or nuts as we knew him then take a hun machine gun position with only a trench knife and a broken wine bottle. i remember the event that was the inspiration for this shirt as mr peanut charged a brigade of huns and after he personally killed 67 with his rifle, more with grenades and then a few with his bayonet before they all surrendered..never has the world known a braver nut. salute mr peanut!
