It’s fantastic.The side pocket, closed with a snap, is large enough to hold a spare legal pad and plenty of pages. I was able to get two pads in there with a smidge of space to spare.On the left side, the top zippered pocket ends at the sew line. Personally, I’d have preferred it go all the way down, and it feels like sewing the barrier there just wastes space, but if you want easy access to smaller items then it’s perfect.The card pockets are just large enough to make sliding things in and out easy without causing wear on the padfolio, but no so large as to worry anything will fall out.The cable wires are taut enough to use for storing pencils or pens without a clip and they won’t fall out. The top one is the better one for that as the bottom will come into contention with the snap. It’s functional for it, but not as good.The business card holder can hold a deck of playing cards. It holds closed with a modest-strength magnet. The oval cutout is just a cutout, no plastic or anything to keep small items falling through if you want to use it for something like that.The pencil holder in the spine isn’t as good a pencil holder as the cord holders. It’s a loose elastic band and will only work for writing implements you can clip on. A good old #2 isn’t going to do that.The clip holds the pad securely, and the entire thing works perfectly laid back of folded open. I absolutely love it. It’s elegant, functional, and awesome.

Perfect for meetings and keeping things organized. Sets me apart from people who just show up with a note pad. 😉

I had my first work convention in Las Vegas and needed some kind of folder for collecting pamphlets, taking notes, handing out business cards etc. But I'm not a lawyer and I've never been a black suit and tie kinda gal.I worried about the gold glitter color being unprofessional, so I ordered this one and the black one as well.Both came neatly packaged in plastic, with a thoughtful tissue paper under the magnet so it wasn't stuck to itself. The thing is a bit heavy because it is very good quality. There are no strings hanging out of the stitching and the fabric feels thick and durable! The shiny glittery top is SO PRETTY - imagine a super sparkly glittery car you've seen, it's that kind of sparkle! But it's not a high gloss finish either, so I decided to just go for it and go with this one! The black one was gorgeous as well, with a matte yellow gold finish, it would be very professional but fashionable for another lady!the magnet clasp is strong and made it easy to quickly shut my case while walking around. The clip held my B5 size planning pad securely (not included) but a regular 8.5"x11 pad would've been fine too. The elastic for your pens in the middle is thoughtful. The larger flat pocket fit my iPhone8 with popsocket, though just barely (I have a iphone6 in my photo for size). The card holder held many of my business cards and the thumb hole was so cleaver, easy to slide out a card! The credit card style slots were great cause I could leave my purse at home. The zipper pocket held post it's and other things. The document part is spacious and held the rather thick convention guide, with the thoughtful snap strap making sure it didn't fly out as I bent the folder back to write on.Overall, I might not use this a lot, but it is KOALA-TEE (slang for Quality) and the gold glitter is GORGEOUS.Can't wait to use it again! The features are carefully thought out and executed well, I don't think I could've designed it better myself.The only con is my arms got tired because it does have some weight even without anything in it, but that's what quality gets you! Seems to be somewhat resistant to pen marks too!

I had originally chosen another one, but I am glad I went with this one. I get complements from my managers and supervisors about how professional it looks. They always want to know where I got it. I hold pretty anything you throw at it. Although I choose not to keep my cash and cards in there as I ride the bus in one of the less safe neighborhoods (re: high crime). So this puppy goes in my backpack and I ket my bus card in my pocket.It is also a little heavy and very sturdy. So that is definetly 2 points in its favor.

Exactly what I was looking for and good quality

I bought this as a college graduation gift for my cousin. I was drawn by the useful features. However, I was disappointed that it didn't look as professional as pictured: the gold underlay sparkled and overall had the look of a sturdy binder or notepad (for school) ... I have rated the binder four stars because it is sturdy but I wish I returned it for a different padfolio.

I absolutely love this portfolio! I’m starting a new job soon and wanted to feel organized and prepared; this did that for me! It’s beautiful, and all the compartments are really handy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the clip board part isn’t holding in the legal pad I bought for it.. which isn’t a huge deal breaker for me. I would still highly recommend!

This arrived today. It appears to be well made but only time will tell. It feels durable. I got the balck and gold one. The material is soft and doesn't knick when I scratch it. There is room for my business cards and cell phone. I love the look of it. I think $40 is a bit too expensive but I decided to treat myself. I highly recommend this!

Initially liked this product as I’m constantly on the move for work… however because the folder is always in my car, the heat completely warped it… not very durable… wouldn’t recommend if it will be sitting in your car between jobs or anything like that

It’s nice enough but I can tell from the material it won’t wear well. Considering returning it since it seems more like something worth $25-$30 and not $40+

I was very hesitant about the style, but it's better in person and nice subtle blush metallic inside. Great quality, and can hold my iPhone 8 Plus.
