The media could not be loaded. These cameras are a much better than the ones I had 10nyears ago which were metal and rusted. They stopped working. These new was are special hard plastic and have a solar panel on top of the shade to charge recharabl batteries solar does not require direct sunlight so even if their in the shade there is some electric outlook. I recommend these even if their under an eve. If they don't get enough charge you can recharge and save money on batteries. There is a fast charging unit at Amazon that charges up to 8 AA OR AAA batteries all one size or some of each size ar same time it is USB powered an inexpensive. The design allows very easy positioning. I found it much easier to unscrew the one thumb screw to remove the camera from the holder making it much easier to mount and screw in the base. Two things I would recommend for improvement the top shade of with the solar panel on top is difficult to line back up and put back on after installing the batteries. Secondly the red flashing light should be brighter. It's fine in darkness but not visible on a bright day.. Summary, I would buy these cameras again. I might even decide to buy a few more. One more thing you don't have to use rechargable batteries if you think the solar won't get enough ligh. You can use regular batteries. Personally, I think the rechargable last longer. Duracell has a 10 year warranty and against leakage and corrosion. There are many copy cat cameras. Be sure you buy this brand.

I put 3 up in a town home community I live in outside. We had a snow and ice storm 2 weeks ago. The camera lights still work and they weren't damaged at all. Pretty amazing considering the price. They've been up for about 2 months now.

A little deceiving you need batteries for them to work at night.Was not mentioned.

I put one of these on all four sides of the house. They’re installed high enough to where somebody can’t touch them. Also bought a sign that says 24 hour surveillance. There’s been issues in our area a lot over the last several months. Several neighbors have put in surveillance cameras but I just can’t afford the expense. I do have a security system put in however. So with my sign for security system and the sign for surveillance camera and the looks of cameras I think it’s effective. I’ve had several neighbors and come and talk to me about the cameras that they think it’s a good idea. I haven’t told anybody they’re not real because that would defeat the purpose.

UPDATE: After hearing back from the seller quick quickly they refunded the pro-rated cost of one of the units, since it was going to be too much work for me to unmount the other three cameras so that I could return them all for a complete refund/exchange. This wasn't particular an ideal resolution because I did need 4 cameras in total. I had hope that they would just send a replacement box with 4 and allow me to return it with 3 from that box and the one bad camera. Due to the attempt at resolving, and resolving in somewhat of a positive way, I'll update the overall rating to a 3 star.The cameras themselves work well for their purpose, and I have had no issues thusfar with the three that were working.-------------------Received them this past Friday. On Sunday started to install them. First camera good. Second camera good, third camera good... Fourth camera, not so good. The battery terminals were installed incorrectly (see photo). One of the set of battery terminals can be removed. So I assumed it was installed flipped by accident. Not so much. The wires side of the terminals was installed wrong. Had to unmount one of the others to compare.Do I have to uninstall all of them to send them back now? Not sure yet. I hope not given how high these are being mounted!

Excellent experience and quality product. As expected. All happy, especially the wife.

I am the manager a gun range with over a 1000 members, 5% of them are real pigs. These fake cameras have changed some of the bad behavior such as members leaving their spent brass on the ground to breaking safety rules. It is true that 5% of a group cause 95% of the problems...if these cameras cut that number down to 2% it is well worth it. These cameras are real enough looking that a couple of my friends mentioned how nice it was to have security cameras on the gun range. If anyone ask where the footage is stored, we tell them the cloud.

The product works fine... In daytime as long as there's sunlight. As soon as the sun goes down, so goes the cameras. They do not work at night, which was why I got them in the first place.Not going to send them back, ain't worth it, it would cost me more in shipping (Dominican republic) than what they are actually worth, but I thought it was important to let you people know that you might as well throw your money away.
