I guarantee you’re going to love it. I first borrowed this book from the library, I was amazed with the information and how easy it would be to make all of these natural medicines and health products for just a small amount of money. The book has many pages full of information. No way I could copy all of it, so i decide to purchase it. I’m extremely happy i did. It’s a great addition to my book shelf.

I absolutely love this book! It's filled with wonderful wisdom & ideas to use in my home. It has sections on kitchen, cleaning, wellness, bath & body, and garden ideas. It's recipes and projects are well written with nice pictures. I like the low waste ideas to create a healthy home & life!

I love this book because it provides practical and easy to understand ways to improve our personal health and habits, while helping the planet at the same time. The clear and common sense narration helps the reader learn new ways to replace the everyday, taken-for granted habits we all have and the products we all use. Her suggestions are in many ways reminiscent of the simpler times of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, before the age of mass-production, processed foods, and engineered chemical products. The beautiful photographs, well-organized chapters, easy-to-follow ideas, and thoughtful encourgaement make this book both clarifying and gratifying to readers who want to start to improve the quality of their lives and the future of the environment. Each of us can begin to make a difference.

This may just end up being my new go to gift for everyone I know and love. It's so inspiring! Although I'm not new to zero waste books or the concept of simple living, I found this read to be a lovely refresher and motivator. I can finally stop pinning, googling and instagram saving all of the random tid bits of information I find and instead use this as my new reference book. Many of the solutions, recipes and projects are new to me and I'm very excited to try them out! If the stunning photographs don't motivate you to consume less plastic and opt instead for a healthier, cleaner more satisfying lifestyle, than I honestly don't think anything ever will! So much goodness in these pages.

I love that this book gives real examples of use and also stresses the need to slowly use the non sustainable things in your life before adding these recommended changes. Otherwise the first step to being earth friendly already would be off on the wrong foot! It does go over the basics but then says hey try these things instead and see where your mind takes you. It makes your home and outside life start to connect in so many ways. I didn’t feel shame for still wanting or needing something that was in non earth friendly packages as it is at times unavoidable. Rather, it says cherish those items and use them more sparingly. Act as if it was a scarce luxury and not really an easily accessible product. Be realistic it shouldn’t be a chore or you’re not doing it right. Such a great attitude to give in a book.

This book is amazing! I started making my own cleaners and looking for ways to be more eco friendly. This book offers easy solutions to being less wasteful. So far every thing I have tried was worked so well. This offers a variety of cleaning products and recipes as well.
