The package arrived safe and right on time. The saddles were intact and none were broken or damaged. I measured each saddle with digital calipers and they measured between 2.95mm and 3.05mm thick, 80mm long exactly, and between 9.95mm and 10.05 mm tall. So the sizes are acceptably accurate to the description. 4 of the saddles were perfect. They were smooth, hard, and consistent, and perfect material for a guitar saddle. The image with the green check mark is one of the perfect ones I received. One saddle was full of pits and air pockets, rendering it useless for a guitar saddle, air pockets and inconsistent bone is a no-no. This is the saddle with the big red circle, to show where all of the issues are located. Another saddle had a couple of air pockets but I can still use the saddle because I can compensate the saddle to remove the bad area. So I recieved 4 perfect saddle blanks, one flawed but still salvageable one, and one that is completely unusable.

All 6 nuts measure consistently within .05mm, but they’re undersized in all dimensions. The density seems okay and also consistent across all 6. The biggest PROBLEM is that they’re so rough you need to take off a significant amount of material off ALL FACES. These would be fine if you could/needed to use say 4mm x 8mm x 51mm, but sadly I CANNOT. I don’t normally order blanks and then have to take 30%+ off the rough dimensions. So while these are convenient to order and did arrive very quickly they’re of zero use to me and now are costing me even more time. I shoulda just went with Philadelphia Luthier supply or StewMac and I coulda had exactly what I need(and what I ordered) in excellent quality. So again to sum it up...SKIP THESE unless you’re just looking for THE CHEAPEST GARBAGE to PRACTICE making nuts and saddles.

I replaced the plastic saddle on a new cheap guitar with one of these. It took about 20 minutes to trim it to length and adjust the height (a Dremel tool makes it easy) and the results were really good. It eliminated the jerky tuning and improved the tone.

Crooked and uneven. Every dimension for both saddles and bridges is in fact smaller by 0.2-0.3mm It's especially noticeable for saddle width which is 2.8 mm instead of 3 and if you sand it to be flat it'll be 2.5mm which is unusable. Complete garbage.

All six pieces are perfectly straight and unblemished. Excellent product. I bought them for my Gerundino and 1941 Ramirez.

Nice bone saddles and nuts. The bone is very uniform and worked nicely to make a new saddle for my classical guitar.

They are as advertised and are a nice quality. I will buy them again when I am refurbishing!

Arrived in perfect condition. Real bone. The blanks' dimensions were consistent and spot on. I already cut one new saddle, and it sounds great.
