It works great to straighten wire

This brand is solid and beginner-friendly. I hesitated to but one because I thought I could get along without it, but it's awesome for straightening wire and doesn't leave tool marks.

These pliers work great to straighten the wire during the jewelry making process. So glad I bought them!

Update:had these two months and the nylon already crackedMy last pair, which were 20 years old, could no longer hold the nylon replacements so I needed a new pair. These work fine.

Last one I bought had plastic pieces that slipped over the jaws. These work much better.
