DANGER!! This product is artificially processed and likely includes maltodextrin, etc. (SEE PICTURES)
I am editing my previous 5 star review.I am a researcher and scientist and after testing the behavior of this product on my body and compared it to that of some other competitor camu camus, I conducted a very simple experiment utilizing this camu camu powder and compared it to a mix of two other camu camu powders (organic, raw)PROCEDURE:I have taken four cups and added a comparable amount of terr amazon camu camu without stirring to the right 2 cups, while using a mix of 2 competitor organic raw camu camu on the left two cups.Note: Water temperature was kept constant and a similar amount of stirring was done after a period of timeOBSERVATIONS:Note the immediate oddity in viscosity and buoyant behavior in the TerrAmazon pink product when compared to the mix of the two other (both similar color raw, organic) camu camu powders.RESULTS:This product is processed in some way that likely has altered the behavior of the camu camu. It has drastically different solubility, viscosity, and density when compared to organic certified raw powders by two other companies, which could be suggestive of some kind of tampering. It is possible that maltodextrin or some kind of starch, along with an artificial antioxidant or spraying procedure is at play here.RECOMMENDATION:DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

Bitter, Musty and Thoroughly Disgusting
This powder is brown, bitter, and totally disgusting. It has a musty, mushroom-y, root-y flavor, along the lines of ginseng or gentian root. It is hideous. The bag depicts a light pink powder and other reviews state that it is pink, and that it has a mildy acidic taste. Well my bag is NOTHING like that. I tried to return it after trying it once, but Amazon said I had to take extra steps to return it, and for the $11 dollars I paid for it I figured I'd just force it down my gullet for a few days and at least get the vitamin C--assuming the manufacturer is being truthful about the vitamin C content. With all these reviews saying "it tastes great!" I don't know if they are fake reviews, or if I got a bad batch, or what. Hope I don't get some sort of illness from eating this stuff. TerrAmazon is really falsely representing its product to show a pink powder on the front of the bag when the product is really brown. I can't stress it enough--this is DISGUSTING. I will never buy it again, and I would caution anyone against buying it either.

Changed their product. For the worse.
I used to love this brand. The powder was pink and fruity. My August 2018 order arrived and sadly the product has changed. It is now brown. And tastes like dirt.

First time using this excellent fruit in its powder form
First time using this fruit in its powder form. Ordered and received within 24 hours. Very pleased with shipment. The powder is very fine and light pink, resembling cosmetic cover up. Taste indicates a sharp vitamin C quality. Prefer to consume on its own. Immediately effective with digestion and energy. In addition, good way to supplement the daily intake. Selected 4 stars due to no other brand to compare to as of yet. Satisfied with quality and shipment. Good product.

hmm.. Lemon :)
I'll be the first to post a review. This stuff taste just like lemon aid! the packaging says 0 sugar so thats a plus.. I like it.In the book Superfoods: The Food and Medicine of the Future he claims it works on all kinds of stuff so.. we shall see..2 oz is not very much but then again its not like you can go to your local supermarket to pick it up so keep that in mind.over 400% of daily value of vitamin C in 1 teaspoon so.. if you want vitamin C to the max this is it.Camu-camu is a low-growing shrub found in the Amazonian rainforest of Peru, mainly in swampy or flooded areas. It grows to a height of about 2-3 m and has large, feathery leaves. The camu-camu fruit is about the size of a large grape and has a purplish red skin with a yellow pulp. The fruit has never been documented as a traditional herbal remedy for any condition in the Amazon region. In fact, it was not widely eaten as a fruit by the indigenous people, due to its sour, acidic taste. In recent years, the fruits have become popular in Iquitos, Peru, where they are made into drinks and ice creams.Camu-camu fruit contain powerful phytochemicals, are full of amino acids (serine, valine, and leucine), and have more vitamin C than any other known fruit in the world. Oranges provide 500-4,000 ppm vitamin C; camu-camu provides up to 500,000 ppm, or about 2 grams of vitamin C per 100 grams of fruit. In comparison to oranges, camu-camu provides thirty times more vitamin C. Camu-camu is also a significant source of potassium, providing 711 mg per kg of fruit. The camu-camu fruit has a surprising range of medicinal effects as measured by quantity of a variety of phytochemical compounds which experimentally have demonstrated therapeutic effects. Dr. James Duke, retired chief botanist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, pre-eminent New World tropical botanist, and author of many botanical books, including the popular Green Pharmacy, lists some of these effects in his Ethnobotanical website, based on amounts of various phytochemicals which camu-camu contains. In a comparative study of hundreds of botanicals, ranked in order of effectiveness for various health conditions, camu-camu was ranked among hundreds of herbs as follows: Antimutagenic -- No. 4 Antiviral -- No.6 Antioxidant -- No.4 Asthma -- No.1 Arteriosclerosis -- No.1 Cataracts -- No.1 Colds -- No.1 Depression -- No.2 Edema -- No.1 Gingivitis-periodontal disease -- No.1 Glaucoma -- No.1 Hepatitis -- No.1 Infertility -- No.1 Migraine/cluster headaches -- No.1 Osteoarthritis -- No.1 Painkiller -- No.1 Parkinson's disease -- No.1.*In Brazil, camu-camu is being promoted as a product that untangles and strengthens hair, and protects it from external damage, adding to its shine and vitality.so that's what it can do according to the book.. :-)

Added to my morning smoothie
To start, I'm giving this 4 stars because the labeling looks like something just added to a silver pouch. This may be a small thing, but I pay attention to packaging, a lot.The color looks like a soft dim pinkish color. The flavor is like a tangy lemony flavor. I added it to my morning smoothie.Overall I'm happy with the product this far.

there is something wrong with this product. I have been using TerrAmazon Camu for years and it was always pink(ish) in color. My latest order contains brown powder which tastes completely different; even package is slightly changed. I am not sure if this is the same quality product as it used to be,
