This is a BEAUTIFUL hair cage/ clip!It is on the small side, so it won't hold a ton of hair well as a bun, but it should be able to hold thicker/ longer hair as a type of clip pretty well!It is a soft metal so it does bend, which can be helpful but that also concerns me as to how long it will last.The pin also has some trouble fitting into the slots of the wings. There are only about 3 or 4 holes it can fit through, so it's pretty difficult to put on securely.My hair is a little past shoulder length and it can hold a bun decently, but it does feel a tad loose, so this is probably best as a ponytail clip or for those with hair around shoulderblade length or longer.

It is VERY well made. Out of all of the hair gadgets I have, this is my absolute favorite. It has a perfect weight, the cost is better than I thought especially for the quality.The hair stick is slightly malleable, BUT it doesn't break; the ability to bend the hair stick actually helped stabilize it in the hair, in my opinion. Would buy again.

Update! I have discovered that it holds hair excellently. You have to twist up your hair into a dense twist, so dense that you have to apply a little force to get the pin to join the other side of the clip. Then, keep pressing the pin through until it locks into place. I actually slept in this clip and it stayed in all night. Am buying a second one in another design. Great product.Nice clip. Holds hair well. Until it doesn’t. The stick is too short and it just pops out. If it were a centimeter longer. Or if the head end could somehow lock in.It’s too bad. I have to figure out some way to adapt it so it stays.Bonus that the stick is good for self defense. I feel like a Viking when I wear it.

The dragonfly design is super cute, and the whole thing gives me hippie or elvish vibes. It is such a fun, but easy to wear design.Was wondering if one of these types of clips would keep my hair in place. It does! I have medium thin strands that are quite strait and I’m always having to re-do all types of clips and elastics. This I used to put my hair half up by “weaving” it through the very edge of the “up” of the half up and it stayed perfect for a full work day!

I love this and want to wear it more, the pick is too short so it easily slips out.

Nice detail, sturdy. My issue is with the packaging. The pretty drawstring bag seems to have a bit of a gap and the ziplock bag not sealed allowed the pin to fall out somewhere before being put in shipping envelope.

So in love with this hair pin! Ive been using it frequently and it’s become my new favorite hair accessory. Its so easy to put in but I will admit this pin doesn’t hold much hair so for the women blessed with luscious locks Id caution to taper down expectations. Haven’t had any problems with it’s construction or things breaking off and whats more is that it’s not uncomfortable to lay back in. It puts all my claw clips that make driving and putting my head back on the headrest to shame! I will say its only “con” is removing the piece requires care otherwise you can expect your hair to be snagged off by the cute designs that slightly catch your hair throughout the day. Id especially be careful if you have hair on the curlier side! For its price Im very happy with my purchase. I’ve bought another one and am now on journey to collect other unique hair pins 🤩🤩🤩

It’s good quality but with its weight, you would need to have it pinned through a bun (or a good amount of hair) to support it, but it’s too small to hold that much hair. So 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe I’m doing it wrong.
