6 x Tubs of Buff-Yellow Concrete, Cement & Mortar Colourant ! Premium quality, easily dispersed powdered cement dye for mortars and renderings, that is permanent and durable. Produced by using high quality oxide pigments. Many shades can be achieved by adjusting the quantity of the dye. Bond-It Cement Colour permanently colours cements, mortars, concretes and renderings. Suitable for use in conjunction with other admixtures, e.g. Bond-It liquid mortar plasticiser (Power-Mix), integral waterproofer (Power-proof), frostproofer hardener (Power-Frost) and SBR admixtures. Why buy Bond-It Powdered Cement Colour? * Permanently colours cement/mortar * Non-fading * Rendering * Pointing * Conforms to BS1014 * Concreting * Large 1Kg tin Application:- Pre-mix Bond-It Powdered Cement Colour, into the sand/cement/aggregate mixture either by hand or machine, and mix thoroughly before adding the gauging water. To ensure you are able to match the colour and keep it consistent, always weigh the first batch proportions of cement dye and the cement etc, do not gauge by volume. For lighter shades reduce the amount of dye added. Tips:- Black mortar works well with natural stone and the riven types of patio flags, it can make the paving stand out, rather than the mortar. Using a silver or light coloured sand for black can reduce the amount of dye needed to achieve a good shade of black, when compared to red sands. It can not be stressed enough how much the mixing of the dry materials should be done before adding the water! Measure everything as accurately as possible! to keep consistency between batches. Do not exceed 5Kgs of dye per 50Kgs of cement as the quality of the mortar could be compromised.

Does the Job
This stuff does work but you have to put a whole tub in it to do about a 5kg of cement. Also when you mix it up it doesn't appear have much affect until you add the water. I had a greyish yellow colour on my powder when mixed but when I added the water it was bright yellow so probably put a bit too much in it.It's trial an error getting the right colour shade.Waiting to see how it hardens now to see if it changes colour or doesn't harden properly as I mixed with Mortar not cement and sand. Also waiting to see if colour runs when it rains as itmay upset the neighbours if it does as my drive is on a slant and I used it to smooth the edge of my brick paved drive. So far so good though!

Barely worked and concrete is more light grey
Really disappointing. The colour doesnt come out a warm buff/sandstone at all! So much work for a light grey effect. The worst part is because I had a large area, I still had to buy more so that the whole area had the same shade. Stuck with it and disappointed, look elsewhere.

Good product
Mixed into a ready blended sand and cement mix. Important to note quantities used to maintain colour through batches. Very pleased with the result.
