Simple Houseware Double Laundry Hamper with Lid and Removable Bags, Black

Small background story: I'm trans and currently doing HRT with testosterone and I'm about to switch from the injections to the gel which requires you to keep and wash everything the gel touches separately so I knew I wanted to get a double hamper. After scrolling through a bunch of listings and, more importantly, the reviews I was only finding cheap, thin, flimsy-looking hampers that could barely hold themselves together or one's that came with a whole frame and shelf, making them HUNDREDS of dollars (I literally saw one for $300+).The first impression: Nothing is marked so the instructions almost seem pointless but it was super easy to put together so that's fine. The whole thing is a little shorter than I was expecting but that's also fine by me. I like how sturdy the base of it feels and I kind of like that the liners hold on with velcro instead of the thin piece of fabric that wraps around what's basically a string tmwith a bead tied to the end which I somehow always struggle with. I've yet to actually deposit clothes into the basket to test it's full durability but for first impressions, I think this is going to work great for us!

Very handy and able to help keep things organized

So far I like it, but I read reviews after I ordered it. I’m not happy to read some of the one star reviews. I have three cats, I hope they don’t shred the fabric.The quality is good for the price, the only thing I wish was a little different. The lid, it would be nice if it was a bit bigger, the lid doesn’t seem as sturdy as it could be because it’s made exactly the same size as the container. If the cats decide to lay on it, it’s possible the lid will collapse in on itself. Other than that I like the size, and the removable bags. It looks nice. Four stars because of the lid.

It's fine. For the price I absolutely should've bought something else. I bought this March 2022 and I'm now getting rid of it in March 2025, so it's not like it didn't get use. It's always been flimsy and after a short while the lid didnt really sit right on it. Maybe if you're looking for a laundry basket you can shut this might be a cheaper option than some, but I would still say it's not worth it.

Very nice and easy to assemble and easy to take laundry to washer and dryer

Ours is still going strong since we bought one in 2019! It's basically a cardboard, with fabric, velcro, and mesh bags, but it's held up very well!We use it in the master bathroom to seperate the whites from the rest of the laundry. Helps that we got the black one: if there's any stains I can't see them.The mesh bags are very useful because when one section of the hamper is full then I just pull it out, dump the dirty laundry in the Washing Machine, then velcro the mesh bag's 4 corners back on.The velcro has held up very well and I haven't worried about it at all.We don't bother putting the lid on, we just leave it constantly off so it's more convenient; but if we had ever used it in a more public space then the lid is handy to hide dirty laundry.
