It looks soooo good but I regret buying it and paying $550 to replace my old stainless steel undermount sink.Its hand pitted and water stays in the sink and in 2 days leaves tarnish discoloration.Very hig maintenance, please dont buy it if you use your kitchen sink.

OK, things to think about. Make sure you are comfortable with the internal dimensions which are very different than the external. This is hand made, with a couple of minor flaws that don't detract but show someone actually made this thing. It seems to clean OK but certainly get a grid for the bottom. 16 gauge seems to be thick enough with a sound deadening pad beneath. This could be considered a safe and reasonable purchase.

This sink was such an excellent buy (purchased as an open-box special; absolutely nothing wrong with it just somebody didn't want it when received). The rack which fits in the bottom is a necessary piece as it keeps the stain-causing items off the sink floor. It's a beautiful sink. Have had it for 4 months and has not discolored one bit (purchased one in 2011 for former home and that one was constantly discoloring although I did not purchase the rack).

This is my second copper sink. I love that this sink does not change color with acidic foods! It looks the same all the time. With my last sink, the smallest thing would cause it to change color and patina. LOVE THIS SINK!!

I have been using this sink for over 2 months and am very happy with not settling for a common stainless steel sink. The natural, hand hammered copper complements my cabinet hardware and solid surface counters much better than grey steel. I was hesitant about living with the "living finish" and what to expect with tarnishing. While on a few occasions I noticed small areas of discoloration from acidic juice or sauce left on the surface, the light copper colored "stain" (like a new penny) goes away in about a day - it just blends back in a mellows out. I do use the spray wax about every 10 days - I think that helps too. I do not dry the sink after each use and do not see water spots (perhaps the wax helps with that too). Most importantly, buy the color matched rack - I used it from day 1, I think avoiding putting mugs and plates directly on the copper helps make it look better. Note - I use rack for stainless sinks too - so it is all the same. The best part is the color and hand hammered look of the sink - it is way nicer and more unique that grey steel assuming your kitchen will be complemented by the warm brown earth tones.

Just had the sink installed. Sink looks awesome. Very happy with the product.
