Everyone makes a big deal about how the rubber or silicon bristles don't scratch your toilet. I've been cleaning toilets since i was 5 & here 30 years later never stuck my head in a toilet wondering "jeez someone must've been crapping out wolverines. This toilets so scratched up like a bag of lotto tickets. This is a problem" ya know... I never once thought i need a new toilet because of scrub brush scratches.My biggest complaint I've ever had with the process of a toilet cleaning is the toilet brush itself & how the bristles wear out & flatten within a few months & then don't clean good enough or scrub the same.I just don't believe there's an epidemic of people who hate scratches in their toilet bowl. The whole point of this for me was to try something that will last longer and possibly be cleaner than a toilet brush.So i had a toilet with yellow pee stains hadn't been cleaned in almost a month. then i got this brush used lysol brand bowl cleaner first then scrubbed with this brush. First thing i noticed it doesn't lather as well & i felt like it took me a few seconds longer like an actual minute total longer to scrub the toilet but it was as clean as if i had used a regular toilet brush.I also lit a match & burned a black mark under the toilet seat for a few seconds. Then i rubbed this silicon brush on it a few seconds with water & it rubbed out loosened the black mark. Just had to wipe with cloth or sponge to get off after that but no scrubbing with anything this toilet brush got it all out.It cleans as good good as regular brush & i would say it feels like it took a little longer to clean but not too long where I'm like throwing it away out of frustration. Should last longer like bristles not flattening. I like the cup they give me it dries & not leaves a big mess. Also i rub the wand around other surfaces to pick up hair & loosen dirt or stainss around toilet or floor cuz the bristles are cleaner. So it's niiicccee solid 4 maybe 5 stars

positive: 1. brush is indeed sturdy and will last. 2. really nice handle and stand design - no chance to get nasty, and no nasty bottom with water, where the brush is sitting. Probably the most hygienic brush i've seen. negative: you would expect those lil silicone bristles or "fingers" to be smaller, thus, more flexible then what it is in reality. 2. because of them to be so big, it doesnt clean as well as you would hope, but still, acceptable

Love my new toilet brushes (I have two bathrooms, thus two brushes). These are attractive and have no metal parts to get rusty. They make of a rubbery material and sit on a drain pad so they dry easily. An added bonus for anyone with back problems, they can be mounted on the wall for each reach. I've only had them a few days but I anticipate they will be the last ones I need to buy. Really love them and hope that they will eventually come in various colors!

So, this takes an adjustment to get use to bc I'm use to using the old school toilet brush and this one just feels weird bc it's the rubbery silicone type "bristles". It works really well and it dries a lot faster than a traditional brush. I also love that I can scrub harder without worrying about it scratching the bowl. I dont have any complaints it's just weird the first time you use it bc it's so different. Does a great job, will be buying another one for my second bathroom. I also love that it wont turn that awful pink/brown color that traditional brushes tend to do.

Let's face it, toilet brushes are disgusting. I've tried replacing cheap brushes every 6 months, buying ones with disposable sponges, clip on cleaners, etc., and it doesn't mean the brushes are cleaner, just more wasteful. This brush is rubber-like. So far it cleans and scrubs well. Afterwards I can rinse it off in the sink and spray it down with a disinfectant and put it back in its holder. The holder is vented so that water doesn't pool up on the bottom and grow bacteria. It's awesome!

I rarely write reviews, but I think I had better do so on this item. This is the worst toilet brush that I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot over the years. I have a large household with lots of kids and guests, so a simple item like a toilet brush is super important. I ordered this one 6 months ago to replace a worn out one, and it is the worst. It does not clean the toilet at all. It is like dragging a rubbery slippery nothing around the toilet. Every person assigned to clean the toilet has had the same complaint. Please don't waste your money. Go for a good old fashioned plastic bristle brush.
