Amazing product, but pricey
This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

Great for ETD and other ear problems
I've been using the Otovent since Feb 2023 as I suffered from SSNHL in Jan 23, it helps to open up your eustachian tubes and allow fluid in the middle ear to drain again.I have horrible ETD and I'm also on fluticasone furoate(flonase) which is a mild corticosteroid, I'd be in trouble if it wasn't for the Otovent. It's easy to setup, use & clean. The box comes with one nosepiece and 10 Balloons.Much safer than doing the Valsalva maneuver which is good, I know straight away if there fluid in my ears/blockage or inflammation around the tympanic membrane as when first blowing into the balloon it will instantly start to be a very dull pain telling me "STOP"The only downside to this, if any, is the cost. The balloons do last a while though so that helps and in the grand scheme of things £15 isn't expensive compared to most treatments for ENT issues. They used to be £10 so a 50% increase is quite substantial for what is essentially a piece of plastic and balloons.I would be in difficulty without it though so I will continue to use Otovent.*I do wish they would add a pack of 10/20 balloons on their own as I don't need a new nosepiece every time and it's an unnecessary cost

Worked for me after sudden hearing loss
After waiting 15 months for my ENT appointment to come through, having suffered sudden hearing loss in both ears, I discovered Otovent. I could see that it would provide the correct amount of pressure in the ears (much better than the random pressure from holding your nose and blowing) and would allow strong swallowing actions without having to maintain that pressure yourself. After using it 3 times a day for 7 days, in accordance with the instructions, I could feel a real benefit and the pressure in my ears began to loosen up, and my hearing improved slightly. I then went on to using it twice a day (again, as per instructions) and the improvements continued until my hearing was pretty much back to normal. It would never return completely to normal as I'd been told there was some permanent damage in one ear.I also know people who tried it without success. So my advice would be to try it if you think you have fluid trapped in your ear, or there is undue pressure in the ear. It doesn't cost much, it is unlikely that it would do any harm as long as the instructions are followed, and if it works then it would be well worth it. If it doesn't work then it is not an expensive item and so is still worth trying.

Unsure
Recommended by my doctor to clear blocked ears. Used a number of times but not sure it popped my ears. Very easy to use. No pain when using.

What a fantastic product
I have been having trouble with my hearing on my right side for some time and had tried everything from many inhalers, ear drops, visits to the pharmacy and decongestant tablets and nothing seemed to work. Then I saw this product which was advised on the best 10 cures for blocked inner ear problems.Although it seemed rather expensive for what it is, it was worth every penny. The first time of use my ear popped and I could hear much better and I was surprised that the ear that seemed ok even popped making my hearing much clearer. I have not yet been able to blow the small balloon up but I am not worried about that because each time I use this product my ear with the problem stays clearer for longer. I would suggest continuing the whole time suggested so that should work fantastically, to keep the inner ear clear.

Waste of money
Hasn't worked. Also beware that the children one is £5 cheaper than this and exactly the same! The adult box clearly states can use from ages 3 onwards. This one has just been given a different box to charge more!

Pricey but worked for me
After using this for about a day my right ear has been completely fixed and I can hear much better. Although I did also do a combination of exercises to also drain out the Eustachian tube so that may also have a role. I didn't get an instant pop in my ears when using this but I did slowly feel the effects of it and eventually fully restored my hearing. Reading other reviews though, this may not work for everyone so the experience can vary but it did work fine for me.
