Tabasco Tin Spicy Dark Chocolate Wedges 50g (Limited Edition)

The chocolate is very good and I would give it 5 stars. I felt very deceived when I received the tin as it was so small I would have never paid 6 dollars for chocolate that is so small. They should hold it up next to a human hand or something to give it scale. The chocolate was very good, but I would never buy this again at the price it was. For as small as it was one or two dollars would have been appropriate, but nor six. It felt like as if I had paid 20 dollars for a 5 dollar coffee.

Good grief! Could this be any smaller?!? $9.20?!?? As you can see the product laying on my iPod is NOT worth half that!

The low star rating is merely off the fact that it was way smaller than you think. I realize there is a picture showing it in the guys hands, but in person, it’s even smaller. I’m 4’ 10” and my hands are incredibly small... this tin fit INSIDE my cupped hands... it says it has 8 pieces inside, but it’s more like 4 tiny bites and you’re done. — the product is fine, but this isn’t worth the 8 dollars. This is more of a last minute 1 dollar item you find by the registers when you’re checking out.

Purchased this for my son's stocking. I like to find odd and different things. He puts Tabasco on a lot of foods so I figured he would like, which he did.Tasted much different than I expected though. It was chocolate with some decent heat to it, I couldn't taste the Tabasco (which is prob a good thing, it is chocolate after all).Anyways, it is a neat quirky gift for those who like spicy food and chocolate.

Liked the idea of this chocolate. I've got it for someone who loves Tobasco so I can't taste it, but this thing is supper tiny. And of course the price dropped after it got delivered. But yeah, the amount you get for the price you pay is kind of silly. It's a nice tin, but it's only 3 inches long, like amount the amount you would get in a pack of gum. Good idea, but I think I will just buy them normal chocolate next time.

First off, the tin these chocolates came in is really cute, definitely makes it look like a nice gift, in addition to having 101 uses for it once the chocolate is gone. The chocolate itself was fantastic. I love dark chocolate, and this was a very good dark variety. The depth paired well with the heat from the peppers. I am fairly wimpy when it comes to spicy foods, you won't find me trying to fire hot suicide buffalo wings or the like. But this wasn't too hot for me. the gets hotter as the chocolate melts and leaves your mouth tingling for a bit. Chocolate and peppers go well together, this is no exception. I may order more to try spicy chocolate covered strawberries next!

As spicy dark chocolate goes, this is fairly decent unless you’re a chili sauce connoisseur. Then it would be considered mild. I wasn’t surprised at how small the container was because I read the description as the title has “50 g” at the end. Also, the picture is plenty large enough to see “1.75 oz (50 g)” clearly. At the holiday price of $7.50 I knew I was paying $68.58 a pound. I wouldn’t mind that for a novelty gift but there is nothing novel about this compared to other spicy dark chocolate I’ve had.

I bought these for my boyfriend for a cute little Valentine's day gift that was a little more unique than usual. I really liked the idea of Tabasco chocolate, but the taste was not very good, in my opinion. The spiciness is delayed, so it hits you like a ton of bricks if you're weak when it comes to spicy food, like me (which I know isn't their target consumer when it comes to a product like spicy chocolate). Overall, the tin was very cute and I like the idea of the product, but I don't think I would purchase this item again.
