Great coffee
Definitely a good cup of joe for my daily needs. I love coffee and this brand did not disappoint. I was able to drink it without any issues. The bitterness is just right and the aroma is pleasant. I love the taste and the smoothness feeling of it. The freshness is also good. I am glad they were able to keep it fresh even during it’s arrival.

Through Many Incarcerations, Still a Good Coffee
Let me start out by saying I'm not a coffee snob, nor do I keep up with the minutia of all the geopolitical interplay of coffee trading. That said, I love a stout dark roast, and have a few standbys, such as Community Coffee, Starbucks Italian Roast, and this dark roast. It brews up with a deep, dark flavor, and is very satisfying as a first morning cup. That's all I can really say about it. I buy a lot of it, if that's any indication.

It Begins…With A Sniff!
Coffee. What all-nighter can be done without it? Who can pull through a day at work without it? This really is the best smelling, best tasting hazelnut; and yes, even better than Starbucks. In fact, in 2003, when it was unavailable in my area, I researched where to find it. Starbucks bought them out, but, didn’t have it available or displayed in their shops. Hmmmmm! Lol What does that tell you?And now? This deliriously, delicious hazelnut, and Starbucks-owned, has been bought out by Nestle, meaning Nestle owns Starbucks! So, you don’t have to take my word for it, take theirs! Have a great coffee day!

Consistently good…until 2recent purchases
Flavor Name: Post Alley BlendSize: 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)Some of this review is copied from another user who very eloquently described my recent experience with Post Alley.I’ve purchased the Post Alley 3-pack 34 times from Amazon and more prior to buying on Amazon.Seattle’s Best Post alley has been my go to coffee for several years. That's not because Post Alley is my absolute favorite coffee in the world. It's about bang for the buck: Post Alley offers a consistent dark roast with robust flavor and aroma, without any of the off flavors you often get from cheaper beans (especially that wheaty, wet-cardboard taste that is an absolute disqualifier for me), and it does it at a price I find acceptable for my primary coffee. That has been true for several years now. consistent quality at a reasonable price.Until now.A recent shipment (a 3-pack of 12 oz.) had obviously been processed by a different facility than usual. The packaging was identifiably different -- a black twist tie rather than white, and the heatseal at the top of the bag was so tenacious it could only be cut, not easily torn open.It only went downhill on opening the bag. Almost zero aroma, except the off smell of a blend of cheaper beans. Not as dark a roast, and an inconsistent, coarser grind. And the brewed product? Half the good taste, with, sure enough, that wet-burlap note I detest. So, to the Seattle's/Nestle's folks, if you read these: You obviously know what production lot/facility I'm talking about. I want to be clear: that product was inferior in every way. I'm hoping it was a one-off that stemmed from some temporary exigency. But if it reflects your new intended standard going forward, you will have negated everything I said above about bang for the buck. And I will quickly find another brand to be my new go-to coffee. You delivered a good product at a good price for many years. I'm hoping you'll keep doing so

Why is the price fluctuating, increasing?
Terrific Coffee, but the lack of a steady price makes this a poor choice for subscription.Buy it elsewhere.
