Just received this harness. Fabric and quality seems to be great! I have a 22 lb Jack Russell Terrier who is very barrel chested. I measured him before I purchased the harness and ordered a medium. The harness does fit, but both adjustable straps are to their smallest point. I probably could've ordered a small and it would have worked as well. I'm still very happy with the product. It seems to meet my initial goal of purchasing a quality harness that DOES NOT rub under my dogs front legs because he is so barrel chested.

I love this harness I bought the small and it adjusts to fit her perfectly. My dog is 16lbs and is a wiggler when trying to put on her old harness. It took forever!!! I was sooo pleased with how easy it was to put this harness on her. She stood still, and bingo I slipped it over her head, clipped it closed under her and we were ready to go. No pulling or choking. The loop for attaching the leash is nice an big and I also secure her in the back of my SUV on a zip line, without worrying that she will slip out of the harness. We took a walk and she walked like she was so proud her new harness. I showed it to a friend and she is going to buy them for her dogs...she has 5 of them. Thank you Noyal for a great product.

This is my fourth harness for my new rescue dog, and finally one I will use. I purchased a high-end Kurgo, which was well made, but too many buckles and too heavy. It went back. I purchased two different sizes of the PugLife harness, the medium was too small and the large too big. My dog is a soft coated wheaten mix. He is thin with a bit of a barrel chest and his body (spin and neck) are long. Most harnesses that were small enough to go round the body hit him too high on the neck, not sitting on the upper rib cage but on the hollow of his neck, much like a collar. I looked for a harness that was angled down so the front chest strap was actually sitting on his upper rib cage. (See their picture of the harness on the yellow lab.) This harness is angled exactly like that. Every single dog has a unique shape, and 10,000 adjustments may be necessary. But I believe that many others must experience a harness with a chest strap that sits too high up on the neck. The design solves that perfectly. And, it was half or a third of the cost of the harnesses that didn’t work. Recommended for medium and large size dogs, or dogs that might have a broad chest.

Good features are the ring for leash, the design does not compress chest or neck. The pull is from the back not the head or neck. This has made walking her a little easier as she never quite got the "no pull" with other harnesses so there is improvement there. Unfortunately, the front strap across the chest area does not stay but slips just loose enough after walking awhile to where the harness slides to one side. It is not easily adjusted once the harness is put on the dog. Even taking the time to make sure to adjust it every time she is put in it. Took 1 star away

It does help with the pulling, our dog doesn't do it as much. However, it gets loose from time to time, so we have to keep adjusting it. Our dog measures 17 inches around the neck and 27 around the chest. We got the medium and it fit at the biggest around the chest. So, hopefully he doesn't grow more.

Fits great, comfortable, easy to take on and off. Nice thick belt, seems well made

After much research I purchased this for my wife and I to walk our dog who can no longer wear a collar because of his medical condition. This product far exceeded expectations in quality and ease of use. It causes no strain on the neck and allows you to attach the leash from over the back instead is the neck. I wish it could be made a little tighter for smaller breeds like my 8 lb miniature poodle. But my wife would not trade it for the world because of its design and how it does not irritate my dogs condition. Very happy
